Porter gives lessons to students of all skill levels and ages. Incorporated into both are keyboard skills, basic music theory, and the essentials of percussion, with clear plans for each lesson. Looking for help in preparation for scholastic auditions? Porter also can help with entrance exams and more! Lessons are always arranged flexibly based on your needs and availability. Lessons start at €30/hr but are on a sliding scale based on your needs.

Porter has given workshops on Active Listening and Environmentalism in music across Europe. Is your event looking for a fun and participatory workshop for music and percussion? Porter offers a workshop that can range from 30-120mins, based on your wishes. Don’t want a part(s) of the workshop? Fear not: it’s modular!

Participants perform short but engaging pieces, learn about the significance of sound in our environments, and become percussionists in a fun and inclusive environment. Using found objects and natural materials, we learn about what it means to listen actively in the highly stimulating world we live in. All musical skill-levels are welcomed. Price determined after consultation.

Porter is an accomplished solo performer, as well as being a seasoned chamber musician. Both he and his ensemble always look forward to performing for you.
