Porter Ellerman, an accomplished and passionate percussionist, utilizes his skills and expertise with his Master's degree from the renowned Royal Conservatory, to advocate for the environment through a musical medium. With an international platform as his stage, Porter consistently captivates audiences with waste and natural materials as he leads his ensemble, Ear to the Earth.

Renowned for â€śâ€¦[engaging] the audience to listen to the world around us," (Delft Fringe Festival) Porter and his ensemble fearlessly present new and innovative contemporary works that not only mesmerize and entertain but also provide a thought-provoking commentary on the pressing environmental issues of our time.

Firmly committed to his artistic vision, Porter's main objective is to utilize music as a catalyst to raise consciousness about waste management and address other crucial environmental concerns. Through his artistry, Porter Ellerman continues to inspire and influence listeners, making an indelible impact on both the world of music and environmental activism.

Porter regularly provides small demonstrations, workshops, and lectures geared around environmentalism and percussion. I love to integrate into any function, class, or convention.

Porter is an experienced arranger for percussion and ensembles and is happy to offer consultation for percussion composing. Prices based on service.

Porter is an accomplished solo and chamber musician, playing with Asko|Schönberg, New European Ensemble, Slagwerk Den Haag, Orchestra of the 18th Century, and more. He also is pursuing his own projects and with his ensemble Ear to the Earth.

Porter has worked with students of all ages and skill levels. His specialty lies in mallet instruments and foundational basics, along with providing help to students interested in auditioning for schools or summer festivals. Prices are always negotiable.
